is there any kind of law that protects employees in nursing homes when allegationsof abuse has been unfounded?

i was accused of resident abuse sent home pending invesgation then called back told to return back to work that the allegations was unfounded i work for 2 days then fired the administrater said it was a liability for the place i was working to keep me with state so close to be comming in...is there any thing i can do.
