Nearly everyone nowadays has good computer skills. Make the computer skills of your child stand apart from others through showing an employer what they have been used for. For example, Microsoft Excel used to create spreadsheets to manage student loan repayments. An employer will be able to see immediately the practical application that has been used and will immediately be able to see what parts of the job role that can be complemented
