Why did the RN (Registered Nurse) do this when I went in with a fractured hand? PLEASE?

She did not perform a reduction on my fractured fifth metacarpal shaft. She said it was angulated, and she didn't touch it, but just casted it up. Why wouldn't she perform a reduction on an angulated fifth metacarpal?
