I am considering becoming a CNA ( certified nurse's aide). What is the pay like and is it a good job generally

Also, I was wondering if there is such a thing as seasonal positions for this kind of work, as I plan to take a 3 month vacation this winter and may do so every other year. How is the schedule in terms of having a family? Is it easy to become an LPN afterward? Please share! THANK YOU =)
