Help with a way to get my future nursing career started?

I am a very young mother of 3 children the oldest being 3-1/2yrs old. I'm currently a medical assistant and unfortunately I didn't get a chance to finish High School, but have a GED. I really want to succeed and would love to become a nurse but do not know where to start. How can I go about starting my education to become a nurse with only a GED in hand??
