Are there any nursing homes that accept elderly who are on social security and base it off of how much given?

My father receives S.S. and he is getting older and can't take care of himself...I want to help him get into a home that'll help take care of him because I can't take care of him because I can barely make ends meet for myself...Does anyone know any kind of place that bases it off of how much their given?
