My husband is disabled and Im a certified nursing assistant,Can i be payed to take care of him?

There used to be a thing called independent choices in Arkansas,where a disabled person could choose who helped them with their personal care,like bathing and stuff like that,even if it was a husband or wife if the patient had medicare or medicaid.Does anyone know about this?
