What do I need to do to get a forgiveness loan?

I was going to school for nursing and was unable to finish due to a car accident. My 6 year old son (my only child) and I were jackknifed by an eighteen wheeler with 60 tons on his freight. My son was killed instantly and I am deemed permanently disabled according to the state of NH. I owe 7,000. worth of federal loans. What would I have to provide to try to get a forgiveness loan?
