People with the profession of registered nurse? What is your job like?

Hi,
I'm thinking about having a job that will help people(Dont know what I would like to do though).
And I'm looking at the profession of registered nurse currently.
What is your job like? Are the job times flexible? What is your job schedule? What time do you go to work and get off work? Is it rewarding and fun?
