nursing education?

Hi I really want to go into nursing I am just about to start CNA training to get myself in the field and see if I like it, which I aure I will. Problem is though I dont have any qualifcatins other thn GED and the nursing courses ask for pre-requiste courses, are these taken in high school? Or can I take them at night school or whilst I am at the college doing the nursing degree,
