Set Your Day A Wonderful Morning Routine

After waking up from a good night sleep, a glorious day awaits you. How you handle these first few hours will determine what kind of day you will have. Whether we realize it or not, each of us has some type of morning routine.

A half way decent morning can become a great morning if we have a sensible routine to follow. Definitely enjoying the cool of the morning is a relaxing way to start the day.

Some people follow this routine with great success. First, they get out of bed and open several windows in the house to let the house get some fresh air for them to breathe. Next, they brush their teeth, wash there face, and drink a couple glasses of water.

Many people find that exercising is great help to their mood, but they are doing more than just getting their mood up. They are also getting their body in shape. Some people may go for a quick morning walk or jog, while others may do yoga and meditate.

Taking a bath or shower may also be another good routine to have. Using warm water will make you feel much more refreshed and energized.

Never skip breakfast. This is said to be the most important meal of the day. What you eat for breakfast will have an effect on how you feel and work throughout the day. Make sure you have a nutritious breakfast, not just junk food.

Those morning chores always seem to get you down? Try listening to your favorite music while doing them to put you in a better frame of mind. Or, read a book or newspaper a few minutes before starting your chores so you have something constructive to think about.

Before you leave the house or start your work, spend a few minutes making a list of things you would like to accomplish before the day is done. Also spend sufficient time on your looks. If you look good it will help lift your spirits. Try to look cheerful. If you look cheerful, most people will respond in kind, and that will make your day easier.

At the end of the day, reflect on how your day went. What were some things you could have done better? How will you do in the same circumstances tomorrow? Plan ahead for tomorrow and you will have a wonderful day.
