I want to go to school to be a nurse?

But I'm worried that these speed through schools are not accredited or they are frowned upon by potential hirers, and universities would extend the process and not coincide with my work schedule. The legit ones I've found in my area are just extended training - I already have to have a nursing certification to attend.

Any advice on what schools to look into or avoid? I'm looking into the Chicago area.
