does anyone know about the transition from rn nurse to a doctor? Will your intership process at end b shorten?

I'm doing the rn process currently but would like to eventually become a doctor. I know you have a few years at the end of pre-med and regular school where you have to serve an intership process...or will you have to serve the full 2-3yrs? Hypothetical what if I worked a few times a week as a nurse all through my education...possible a few breaks in between but I hope to go all the way through....thanks!!
