Physical Therapy-

Occupational Therapy

These therapists can assist a patient to regain their independence in the activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing and preparing meals. This allows the patient to be able to remain in their home rather than in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.

*Techniques for sensory integration, energy conservation, work simplification, and joint protection.

*Teach therapeutic activities designed to restore physical function.

*Teach compensatory techniques to improve the level of independence in ADLs.

*Design, fabricate, and fit orthotic and self-help devices.

Another area one might be eligible for is the home health aide services when you need assistance with personal care while being treated at home by a nurse or other therapists. Some of the areas a home health aide might help with is:
