Ways That You Can Efficiently Prioritize Your Goals

Somewhere down the line we have lost control of our lives, everything is done at speed these days, from our food to our entertainment. It's time to take some of that control back again.

We don't have to live our lives by stringent rules, but we all need a sense of direction and different goals to aim for. This gives our lives a purpose and a reason to chill a bit.

Setting your goals and sticking to them can be tough, so don't go off into fantasy land. These goals must be achievable and in a set time span. Keep your fantasies for your dreams.

Don't, whatever you do, set yourself goals that can't be achieved in a set time. This includes things such as wanting to improve yourself as a person, stick to the ones that are achievable.

Rome wasn't built in a day, so don't expect miracles. A good time limit for first time goals is approximately 8-12 weeks.

Here are a few helpful hints for those doing this for the first time, and cover a variety of situations.

If you like walking. Why not set yourself a target of walking a set distance in a certain time, such as half an hour. Or you may want to improve your memory, maybe even save up money for something special in that set amount of time.

Why not plan a party or event for your family and friends, or read that book that's been gathering dust on your shelf. Making new friends is a good one, but not if you are painfully shy!

Don't take time out once you have completed a goal, set yourself a new goal and get straight onto it. Once you have a achieved all your short term goals move onto ones that will take longer to complete and require a greater level of commitment.
