The economy is changing so fast right now that many people are forced into retirement or voluntarily retiring. Most have been downsized and a few have received severance packages. Many of them would be an asset to most companies , but are considered not able to perform at a high level.

When President Roosevelt proposed Social Security for people over 65 very few people lived to be 65 in those days. Now the life span is much higher and getting even higher. So two things are happening here. At 65 we are collecting SS yet we are still capable of performing at a high level.

What jobs are offered from conventional businesses are bagging groceries, greeters at Wall Mart , lonely guard at some where house. A company in Maine sees the big picture and hires only people over sixty-five and on of them is 92. Of course this is a very profitable organization.

As we reach maturity at around sixty five we lose some of the verve and fire we had when we were younger. The energy wanes, but not the desire. They say pitchers become more crafty after they have lost a little something off the fastball.

Network Marketing has been a haven for some senior citizens. First of all it is not very expensive to get started. They can work from home and start for usually under $550. Also, the people they know are in similar circumstances. They want to be involved too. Also, no commute working from home.

Many Network Marketing companies have produced some fabulous products. As we get older we develop different ailments and these products help us to live a better quality of life.
