Is software engineering easy? jobs..?

Im 15 years old, 10th grade, take honors algrebra 2, and hon. history (i qualify for hon. english but not sure bout taking) and take engineering class on top of that. basically im a pretty good student and im not new to hard work. im not lazy but i want to get a good job that requires small load of work...great money.. you know.. im okay wit computers but software engineering sounds kinda tough to me.. what does any1 else think? i understand it has to do with "building software" for todays technology but could some one explain to me the degree of its difficulty, etc. im mainly looking at this job because nursing, lawyer, pilot,etc those arent for me.. i want something that by the time im 40 i wont be looking at myself saying "i put 20 years into this??" help me out here i dont want to be middle class forever, what do you recommend?? (need more details, just ask)
