did anyone else hear about the beatings of the elderly in those nursing homes?

i thought it was so cruel. they even showed some clips of it on cnn. whoever beats the elderly(our wisdom givers) has no heart,no soul, and doesnt deserve to be considered a human being.
and for anyone who likes to give dumbass answers please dont. this is suppose to be a discussion question and this is for serious people only. thanks in advance for your respect.
