Argumentative essay on "Putting elderly parents in nursing homes"?

Pros and cons? And any ideas on how to go about writing it, because I'm not sure how to tie the points into an effective essay..

So far, I have:

PROS - caregivers are trained, elderly's children may have problems of their own (job, debt etc)

CONS - unsure of treatment of elderly in nursing homes, costly, elderly may feel abandoned if he/she is not visited regularly
